Just wanted to fill you in on a few things happening right now in blogland!

Did you know that it’s Purse Week time again over at A Lemon Squeezy Home? I’m a sponsor again this year and will be giving away patterns to the winners. There are some other really fabulous prizes, so be sure to enter your bags and purses!

Have you heard of SewSet yet? It’s the brainchild of Jess from Me Sew Crazy, and I think it fills a huge need in the online sewing community. SewSet is a place where bloggers and designers can upload links and photos to their patterns and tutorials (both free and for purchase), and where we can all search through the links and photos. Kind of Pinterest-esque, but with a search feature that actually works (does that frustrate anyone else with Pinterest?), and it’s just sewing tutorials and patterns. I’ve added a bunch of my projects so far, and you should too! Jess and her husband have poured so much into it, and it’s a really great site.

Also, Project Run & Play is in full swing, and there have been some amazing designs this season! I love seeing all the creations and how creative the bloggers are. This week’s challenge was to create something with a white sheet, and the designers definitely did not disappoint! Voting is open right now, so go have a look at the entries and cast your vote!
