Earlier this week I shared Hattie’s Christmas dress, and today I get to share Lola’s! I used our Pretty in Peplum Dress Pattern, and this may just be my favorite one yet. You can read all about Hattie’s Sullivan Dress here.
The pretty floral ponte knit that I found here was originally supposed to be a dress for me, but I when I imagined it with this pattern on Lola, I was outta luck ;). I knew it would be too cute with Hattie’s striped and gold dress, so I took one for the team. Hattie is almost grown out of the plaid Pretty in Peplum Dress that I made Lola two years ago for Christmas, so it was good timing for a new one!
I chose the long sleeve option, partially because I love the look, and partially because I knew we’d be taking outside photos and there would likely be complaining if it was too chilly. Lucky for me, this was the first year that we lucked out with quite nice weather (nice enough to have them skip school for photos – shhh), and my kids all did awesome.
To say Lola loves this dress would be an understatement. She loooves it. I love that she loves it, and also that it makes her look like a little lady but is still comfortable and practical.
There is nothing I love more than to see my two girls being friends. They are the best little buddies (most of the time), and to watch them play together never gets old! It reminds me how much I love my own sisters, and how lucky they are to have each other.
You can get your copy of the Pretty in Peplum Dress & Top Pattern in our shop here! Last up for this year’s Christmas outfits will be my boys’, coming soon! I’m excited to also share some pics of the whole bunch together!
