Skipper Top Tour: The Red Kitchen

The week has flown by, and we’re already at day 4 of the Skipper Top Pattern Tour!

I can’t tell you how excited I am to have my friend Katie from The Red Kitchen as today’s stop on the tour. I feel like Katie and I go way back in the blogging world and have both been through so much since our friendship began. Years ago when I had a crazy idea to make the Ruby Lou Doll into a pattern, Katie was so kind to be one of my very first pattern testers. She has been so supportive and generous with her knowledge over the years and I really cherish our friendship.

I’m absolutely thrilled that Katie has now published a book that is going to be available next month! It’s called Simple Sewing: 30 Fast and Easy Projects for Beginners, and is filled with simple sewing projects that are easy, fun, and don’t take a lot of time to make! Oh, and you can pre-order it here if you don’t want to have to wait! I may have been lucky enough to get my hands on a copy already, and can tell you that it’s fabulous! I love books that have a large variety of projects, and this one does not disappoint.

Katie made not one but two Skipper Tops to show off, and her little Olivia is just too adorable modeling them! Click over to The Red Kitchen to see both tops and get all the details!
