Cricut Iron-on T-shirt Tutorial

I think we can all agree that little extra kindness is always a good thing. Today’s project helps to spread that message, and I’m excited to share this DIY Be Kind T-shirt project with you! Partnered with Cricut, I used the Cricut Explore Air 2 and Iron-on to create the design, and am also sharing a detailed video Design Space tutorial to guide you through from beginning to end.

DIY Iron-on Be Kind T-shirt

Feel like a beginner when it comes to crafting? No worries, this post has you covered! Stick with me and you’ll have a new DIY Be Kind T-shirt in no time.

I’m sharing just what you need to know to get started creating in Cricut’s software, Design Space (which is a free download), and soon you’ll be creating your own unique designs!

I love working with Cricut Iron-on, and today’s Iron-on T-shirt tutorial is no exception. I also had so much fun making this Cricut Design Space tutorial for you!

In addition to working in Design Space, the video shares all the details for cutting and applying the Iron-on as well. The Cricut Explore Air 2 T-shirt will be a new fav in your closet!

And speaking of Cricut’s T-shirts, I used a Cricut T-shirt blank for my base. It’s not the first DIY shirt I’ve made with one (this camping themed shirt is still on regular rotation in my closet), and it certainly won’t be my last – the fit is just so great and they wear super well. Throw your hair up in a DIY scrunchie and you’re set!

In addition to easy Cricut Iron-on projects, like this Be Kind Iron-on T-shirt tutorial, you can create so much more with the Cricut Explore Air 2. As I mentioned in my video, it’s great for paper crafts, personalized gifts (like this teacher tote bag I made with Infusible Ink!), cards, and can even write with a pen (which is awesome when you have less than beautiful handwriting like my left-handed self).

But, don’t let the fact that it’s a machine that can do a lot deter you from all the DIY and crafting fun you can create.
