Seraphic Raglan Tee

I’m excited to be participating in Figgy’s Heavenly Collection Winter 2014 Tour today!

After a tough time deciding which pattern I wanted to make from the bundle, I decided on the Seraphic Raglan Tee for Lola. I LOVE the style of the Ethereal Dress & Tunic too, and I’m sure that will be in my near sewing-future as well!

I used a fairly thick knit that I found at Jo-Ann, and it was so nice to sew with. The right kind of knit can really make or break a project, can’t it? Or at least save some headaches while you’re sewing!

Lola’s chest measurement is about 1/2″ smaller than the smallest size on the pattern’s size chart, which is 18m, and as you can see, it’s quite roomy on her. Although she can almost wear it now as more of a tunic, I think I’ll put it away until she grows a bit more, which is always great to be able to look forward to!

She loves the little pocket (there are two different pocket options in the pattern), and couldn’t keep her hand out of it!

As always with Shelly’s patterns, the instructions were clear and straightforward, and the pattern pieces all came together quickly and neatly. It was quite a quick sew, which you know is my favorite kind!

Shelly is also giving one Sew Much Ado reader a pattern of their choice from the Heavenly Collection, and you can enter below!

  2. Thus far I think my favorite is the Stellar Tunic, but I loved seeing this raglan sewed up in tunic length. Super cute!
