Skipper Top Tour: The Southern Institute & The Train to Crazy

Today marks the tail end of the Skipper Top Tour! I’ve had so much fun sharing our guests’ tops all week, and we have two more lovely guests today!

Jenny from The Southern Institute is a true gem. I’ve gotten to know her over the past few years, and admire her in many ways. She is a great mom to her three kids, and I love her unpretentious style of blogging. I always feel like what you see is what you get with Jenny and her blog. Jenny is also the founder of the popular Sew Fab ePattern Bundle Sale, and recently released her first sewing pattern, the Ananda Pants! Once Lola’s a little bigger, I’ll definitely be making a pair (or three) for her. Jenny’s oldest, Abby, has grown up so much since I started following The Southern Institute, and it’s so fun to see her wearing her Skipper Top. Head over to Jenny’s blog to check it out!

I am equally as excited to have Andrea from The Train to Crazy as one of our last stops! There is so much I can say about Andrea, it’s hard to know where to begin. Andrea organized Fabric Weekend, and it was so so great to get to hang out with her. She is humble despite all of her accomplishments, including being the woman behind Go To Patterns. And not only does she run the shop, she also designs patterns herself – I’ll be showing one off in a couple of days! I often wonder how she gets everything done that she does, but she is amazing! She has the most beautiful daughters, and I love the striped Skipper Top that she made. Read all about her top HERE at The Train to Crazy!
