Baked Sweet Potato Fries
Hi friends! Today I’m sharing another one of my go to healthy recipes with you, Baked Sweet Potato Fries! If you’re anything like me, you won’t be able to resist eating the whole plate!
I eat these fries at least three times a week for lunch, and they are filling, healthy, and delicious!
The smoked paprika and garlic add the perfect flavor to such a nutritious vegetable.
I get more than enough healthy fats from my PB addiction, and so have tailored this recipe to not contain any olive oil (other than to spray the baking sheet), but you could add a splash of olive oil if you prefer when you mix the spices in.
Pre-heat your oven to 425 degrees. Peel and slice your sweet potato. I cut mine in half lengthwise, cut 1/4-1/2″ slices, and then cut those slices into 1/4-1/2″ fries. I have dreams of getting this potato fry cutter, which would make it even easier! Soaking the fries in cold water for an hour will help reduce the starch and add crispyness, but to be honest I usually skip this step because I can’t wait another minute to eat them!
Place fries in a bowl and add smoked paprika, granulated garlic, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat fries evenly.
Spray a baking sheet with olive oil spray and place fries in a single layer on sheet.
Bake at 425 for 20-25min, flipping fries after 10-12 minutes (once the bottom of the fries have began to brown). Remove fries from oven when they’re brown and crispy.
Enjoy your healthy baked sweet potato fries with your favorite dip – my husband and kids LOVE the dill tzatziki dip from Costco (and I love not having to make it!).

1/2 tsp salt
black pepper – to taste
Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. Peel and slice sweet potato into 1/4-1/2″ fries. Soaking fries in cold water for an hour to reduce the starch and add crispyness (optional). Place fries in a bowl and add all other ingredients. Mix well to coat fries evenly. Spray a baking sheet with olive oil spray and place fries in a single layer on sheet. Oh…my weakness! I’m definitely going to have to try them with smoked paprikaa!
I have to try these! I usually buy them from TJ’s but I bet yours are better!
I’m trying them for Christmas dinner tomorrow I think they will be a great hit.
