I’m A Finalist!

When I recently heard about 733’s Knock It Off contest, I thought I’d enter a dress I made, just for fun. It was the same dress that inspired the Copycat Challenge that I hosted a few months ago, and I just found out I made it to the top 10!

Voting begins today, so you can hop on over to 733 and vote for your favorite! You can only vote once, and I’m not asking you to vote for me, because all the finalists are amazing — I think you should vote for who you think deserves to win. Also, I can say that I know how much work it is to put a contest like this together, and I’m sure Kim would be thrilled to see all your votes!

Oh and remember that the Shabby Apple Dress giveaway closes tonight to new entries and the winner will be announced on Monday – please make sure you’ve followed the rules when you entered as well so your entry can be counted!

  1. Congratulations! I need to start sewing some shirts for myself. I can never find just the right thing in stores for a decent price.

  2. Congratulations! I’m headed over to vote now!

BTW – do you have a dress form that you work on? I’m trying to decide which one to buy. I think I’d sew more for myself if I knew things would fit when I’m done.

  3. What a great dress! I’m getting married in two weeks (eek!)… my colors are navy and white, and that dress would have been perfect for the rehearsal. I love it.

(PS, I’m stopping by from backyard eden. I love your patterns and work!)
