Knit Peplum Dress – Take Three
Update: The Pretty in Peplum Dress & Top PDF Pattern is now available HERE!
I know there’s been a whole lot of peplum up in here lately, but I’ve been having so much fun working on this upcoming pattern! I shared a peek of this version on Instagram (@sewmuchado) a couple weeks ago, and finally got some photos of Lola wearing it the other day to share with you!
I used the same knit from Michael Levine for the top of the dress that I used on this Seafarer Top for myself, squeaking out just enough for the bodice, sleeves, and peplum. I pattern mixed the skirt portion of the dress using a tribal knit from Jo-Ann.
With Lola being quite small around for her height, I made an 18m width, and added length to the bodice and skirt to fit her measurements. The pattern will have sizes from 18m all the way up to a girl’s 12, and I have to say that it’s pretty darn cute on those larger sizes too!
She is adorable! Love the dress, too.
Oh your little model is gorgeous :) The dress is super cute, too :)
I am already gathering ideas for next easters dresses. Thinking this is a major contender!
You did a great job on her dress. I love the colors and LOVE your little model.
Super cute!! I can so see this on Eddie!
Can you let me know when this pattern is available for purchase?
