Ojai Wrap Pattern Tour
I’m excited to be a part of the Ojai Wrap pattern tour today! My friend Justine from Sew Country Chick recently released this fun pattern, and I loved sewing it. Read through to enter to win a copy of the pattern!
I dragged my little sister Audy into modelling for me, and I love how it looks on her. I pattern matched with some fabrics that I had on hand, since I had another large order of knits on it’s way to me in the mail, and am trying to reduce my stash.
The Ojai Wrap was a quick sew, and I was able to do it entirely with my serger and coverstitch machine, with the exception of the shoulder tabs.
I love the high low hem. I used my coverstitch machine to hem the bottom with contrasting red thread. I changed the angle of the hem of the contrasting fabric slightly, and angled it upward rather than straight across, just because of personal preference.
I omitted the buttons on the sleeve tabs because I wanted to show as much of the floral turquoise fabric as possible, but I think it would be cute either way.
I love that the Ojai Wrap is a really versatile pattern, and can be more dressy or more casual depending on the fabrics you use. I’m sure I’ll be making more down the road! I really enjoyed making this one, and you have the chance to win a copy of the pattern so you can make one for yourself! Enter below…
