Your Ruby Lous
One of my very favorite things is getting emails from you showing me something you’ve made using one of Sew Much Ado’s tutorials or patterns. I want to share just a couple of your projects that I’ve received emails about recently. These ladies put a lot of work and time into their Ruby Lou Dolls and I want to show them off!
Katie was one of my beloved pattern testers over a year ago, and made four Ruby Lou Dolls this Christmas for her nieces…
And since it’s cold here in Utah, she whipped up some scarves for her dolls too!
She also even made a boy Ruby Lou (not sure what he’d be called :)) for her nephew (she made up the shorts and bowtie herself)!
Beth also made five Ruby Lou dolls for the little girl cousins in her family (I’m feeling like I should be a better aunt), which she posted about here:
Didn’t she do a great job?
LeAnne from Everyday Celebrations made this Ruby Lou using adorable Bliss fabric:
I’ll leave it at that for today. Thanks for sharing, ladies, it melts my heart to see your creations!
They are all so adorable!! I don’t think I could even pick a favorite if I wanted to! And you created that pattern? AWesome. :) xoxo
How about the boy being Ruby-Louie? (loo-ey!)
how very cute!!! The boy could be little Robbie Lou…
Love it!
I want one? where do I get the pattern?
I LOVE that Bliss fabric. All of the dolls are amazing. I love the hair color choices and variations. The boy doll is great too. I bought the pattern during your sale yesterday, and I can’t wait for it to arrive. I am going to make one for my niece (I have boys). Now that I see the boy I will make my sons each one to. Maybe his name could be Bobby (something) to go with Ruby Lou.
Yolanda – Just click on the
“Patterns” tab at the top of my blog :)
Jayna Rae – I just emailed you, but I sent the pattern to your Paypal email address yesterday so you should have received it. Let me know if there was a problem!
The boy could be Rudy Lou :-)
Thanks for showing mine!
Such beautiful Ruby Lous! I want to make more but I really need some little girls in my life (all I have are nephews!) Perhaps I should make a boy too (Rory Lou perhaps?)
Both ladies did an incredible job. They are so unique and adorable: that’s what I love about Ruby Lou…everyone puts their own creativity in and they turn out so cute!
