Baby neck tie tutorial.
Okay, this would have been a much better post if I had done it right before Father’s Day instead of right after, but I still love the idea and can’t wait to use the tutorial myself. Making a tie for Wyatt has been in the back of my mind for a long time, but my little sister was on the ball and actually made one for her son using this tutorial. It is super easy (she’s a TERRIBLE sewer and had no problems with it). Just kidding, she’s not terrible at all (my next post is going to be another one of her cute quilts), although I did have to explain what top-stitching was to her recently.
As you can see in the picture, she bought two matching ties and used one to make little Emmett’s tie and gave the other one to her husband as a Father’s Day gift. I think it was such a cute idea, I wouldn’t have thought to do matching ties. Isn’t Emmett such a cute baby?
i love it! i can’t wait to this!
dido Angie’s comment!!
This comment is not for the tie, although it is very cute. I just wanted to say great job on all your tutorials. They are so easy to understand!
I love this. I have it bookmarked because I’m totally going to use it. No more sewing a dozen bowties before a family wedding for me!
Seriously, I’ve been looking for a baby tie tutorial, thanks for sharing!!!
I randomly came across your blog looking for a baby necktie tutorial to sew for my nephew’s birthday and to my surprise I knew the people in the picture! I’m in Audi, and Tyson’s ward, what a small world!
Sure love the matching ties on both of them! I’ll have to remember this for Father’s Day next year!

A few hints include avoiding shops that use swimming pools to teach you in. Multiple
big and small fish populate the waters near the island, as well as sea turtles and
sharks.
