The Baby Seafarer Top {Mommy & Baby Edition}

I have been so so excited to share today’s post with you and some exciting news. After receiving many requests for a Seafarer Top Pattern for girls, I can tell you that it’s in the works the Skipper Top Pattern is now available HERE! I’m hoping to make it available in the next few weeks, so that you’ll have plenty of time to sew up a pile of tops before school starts.

As of now, the pattern will include 12 sizes, from 6 months all the way up to 10.

I spent the last few weeks visiting my family in Canada, and while I was there I took full advantage of two of my sisters who live in my hometown. Just for fun, I’ll send a Seafarer pattern to the first person who knows where that is – take a looksie at the photos ;). Lucky for me they each have daughters who were both willing to model (or who didn’t have a choice) and help me test sizes.

I love the soft peach knit (a score from Girl Charlee) that these tops are made out of, and of course needed to make Audy a matching top.

Seeing them together in their tops made me want to make some matching tops for Lola and I. I guess that’s next on the list :).

Lydia is only three weeks older than Lola and they’re super excited to be best friends. Isn’t she a doll?

Next week I’ll share set #2 of Mommy/Daughter Seafarers, with a different sister and niece, and showing some different options. Have a great weekend!
